SABAM

SABAM is the Belgian Association of Authors, Composers and Publishers.

SABAM (or Société d'Auteurs Belge – Belgische Auteurs Maatschappij) is one of the Belgian associations of authors, composers and publishers. Sabam’s goal is the collection, distribution, administration and management of artists’ rights in Belgium and countries in which agreements have been concluded. The actions led by Sabam are mainly linked to music, but the Association of Authors has been working in various artistic fields. Sabam is the result of a number of authors’ initiative who created the association in 1922. Today, Sabam is representing its members’ intellectual property by protection rights and collecting royalties.
