Kobalt Music Group was founded in 2000, to act mainly as an administrative music publishing company. Kobalt developed a label services and neighboring rights management offer, with an online portal to provide royalty income to artists and let them manage their rights and royalties. Kobalt represents more than 40% of the top 100 songs and albums in the US and UK today. Their goal is to give artists, songwriters, record labels and music publishers the right tools and transparency they need to build their careers.
