Buma / Stemra

Buma/Stemra represent two private organisations in the Netherlands: the Buma Foundation and the Stemra Association, operating hand in hand to act as the Dutch collecting society for composers and music publishers.

The Buma Foundation represents the interests of copyright holders, working with the Stemra Association representing the interests in mechanical reproduction rights. Buma / Stemra each have their own rules and regulations management, but has one and the same management. The boards of Buma and Stemra meet at the same time to efficiently work on solutions dedicated to the collecting society for composers and music publishers.
